Elworth Infant/Primary school is reached within 2 minutes without crossing a road. Elworth C of E Primary school is about 12 minutes walk away (there's a crossing patrol on the main road). Children's nurseries are also available in Elworth. Secondary schools are 20 minutes walk towards Sandbach town. Bus stop is on main road 7 minutes walk away. Railway station is approx. 12 minutes walk away and provides services to Crewe, Manchester and beyond. Two supermarkets are 2 - 7 minutes walk away. Fish & Chip shop and Chinese takeaway are in Elworth village close to the railway station. Sandbach town centre is about 25 minutes walk away or 5 minutes by car. Crewe is about 7 miles away.

Sandbach has a Leisure Centre with a swimming pool and various courts. There are two golf clubs, a cricket club and a rugby club. Sandbach town centre has a large car park, numerous shops and holds a Thursday market outdoors (and an indoor market on Saturdays). Sandbach has a rich history, a park, a bowling green, many old buildings and many places serving meals.

The loft is insulated with fibreglass. The gas-fired boiler was replaced with a larger one to cope with the increased number of radiators. The owners currently live in Greece.
