| Walked uphill to buy stuff. It gets steeper every time. Even the car struggles! Someone had left the gate open so the barking dogs were loose! Luckily, the vicious-looking Alsatian was still chained and couldn't reach me, but the other two bounded around until I was safely past. | |
| Supermarket comes into view. Chatted with Aspasia (the owner) and Jill (english lady who helps out). Bought a broom. Told Jenny she could now fly home! | |
| Espied a new sign on the way back. I'll make a note of that. | |
| Jenny put the broom to good use while I helped by taking photos. | |
| There was a loud noise and an excavator crept past. The driver smiled and waved. | |
| Exciting, isn't it? This reads like a children's story! I wonder what happens next! | |

| Jenny made sandwiches then I had a nap. I couldn't take pictures of that. | Blank |
| 5pm and it's feeling chilly. It has been fairly windy all day but it was warmer earlier. I've turned my office fan off, using the new pull-cord that I fitted yesterday. No need for ladders! I've asked Jenny to cook because I'm hungry. The sky is blue with fluffy white clouds. The bougainvillea are in full bloom. I finally got my "Skype" camera to work but Carl says he can't see any video. |
